Folk meets classical meets jazz in this improvisor’s dream quintet. The Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players present original adaptations of “I’ll Fly Away,” “Ramblin’ Boy,” “Poor Wayfairin’ Stranger,” and other tunes that have inspired centuries of composers and songwriters. Hear these incredibly creative, versatile musicians perform music you know and love in ways you’ve never heard before as you enjoy the mouthwatering brunch offerings of City Winery Chicago.
Doors open at 11:00 A.M., and brunch will be available for purchase before and during the performance. Casual attire is encouraged. Approximate run time: 1 hour.
