Ride into the holidays on a jazz-powered sleigh as the Chicago Philharmonic
Chamber Players return to City Winery by popular request for another concert
featuring fresh interpretations of seasonal favorites. Expert jazzers Cheryl Wilson,
Jim Gailloreto, and Jeremy Kahn perform classics including Mel Torme’s “The
Christmas Song” and Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” along with newer tunes like
“Where Are You Christmas?” (from How the Grinch Stole Christmas) and “Grownup
Christmas Wish List.” Settle in for brunch with friends and family and celebrate the
many reasons for the season.
Doors open at 11:00 A.M., and brunch will be available for purchase before and during the performance. Casual attire is encouraged. Approximate run time: 1 hour.
