Support The Chicago Philharmonic Society

People like you – with a passion for music and love for the human spirit – are why do what we do. For over a quarter of a century, the Chicago Philharmonic has been entertaining, inspiring, and transforming audiences of all ages, cultures, and musical backgrounds with beautiful music, and our audiences are growing larger and more diverse each year.

But presenting a full symphonic concert is an expensive endeavor. While ticket sales bring life to a concert hall, they cover only about a third of the costs of a Chicago Philharmonic concert. Consider that:

  • $50 sponsors one disadvantaged family’s attendance at a symphony concert
  • $100 funds a master class reaching 10-20 students in our mentorship program
  • $500 supports one musician rehearsing and performing a symphonic concert

We count on the generosity of music lovers like you to continue bringing beautiful music performed by our top flight musicians; world-renowned guest conductors and soloists; and collaborators from the worlds of dance, theater, and other artistic disciplines to easily-accessible venues at affordable prices.

Your support also helps fund outreach efforts such as the Chicago Philharmonic Mentorship Program, which positions our musicians in low-income school districts to provide masterclasses, side-by-side rehearsals and performances, and outings to Chicago Philharmonic concerts.

Please consider making a contribution to help keep the music alive. Every contribution makes a difference.
